Management Accountant
Join our rapidly growing Finance team!

As Management Accountant, you provide essential financial expertise to support Wuffes expansion and increasing regulatory complexity. This role is designed to scale the finance department's internal capability, specifically by managing the transition to consolidated audit requirements and ensuring rigorous compliance with new UK operations and tax mandates. By delivering accurate multi-entity reporting and robust fiscal oversight, the Management Accountant will ensure the business remains agile and compliant as it scales.
📒 Your responsibilities:
Monthly Accounting & Reporting:
• Deliver accurate monthly management accounts, including journals, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Produce monthly and quarterly reports.
• Own designated OPEX lines, with clear monthly reporting and forecasting.
Statutory Reporting & Accounting:
• Co-lead the annual audit and work directly with external partners to drive a clear and efficient process
• Review and process quarterly UK VAT returns
• Manage information collection & integrity
Accounts Receivable & Revenue Reconciliation:
• Work with Retail and Demand Planning to manage retailer invoicing and reconciliation of sales and promotions across a high-growth area of the business.
• Lead collection follow-up and AP reconciliation, raising claims where needed.
• Perform monthly retailer statement recs, highlighting discrepancies across revenue, collections, costs and promotional terms.
Finance Function Development:
• Help build a lean, scalable and efficient finance and accounting function to support future growth.
• Demonstrate proactivity for process improvement, problem solving and automating manual processes
• Project support for the needs of a fast-growing business
✅ What you bring:
Proven finance experience - to be either qualified or near-qualified, with strong accounting knowledge, hands-on experience with accounting systems and experience in a retail or e-commerce background is highly beneficial. Amazing Excel skills would be useful too.

Great communicator – proven ability to deliver strong, clear guidance and provide context to the rest of the business; strong collaboration skills to be able to partner widely across the global team. You’ll have demonstrable experience of influencing stakeholders.
Excellent organisation skills - ability to plan and organise work so that it is efficient and effective, takes ownership of their tasks and is not afraid of new challenges.
