Head of Partnerships (Influencer & Affiliates)
Lead Wuffes’ creator, ambassador and affiliate partnerships - from shaping the strategy to building trusted relationships that drive measurable growth.
📍Location: London - Hybrid (3 days per week) OR United States - Remote
📈 Reporting to: SVP of Marketing
💚 Role type: Permanent / Full-time
We’re hiring a Head of Partnerships to build and lead Wuffes’ partnerships function end to end, turning creator relationships, professional advocacy and affiliate partnerships into a scalable source of growth.
We already work with hundreds of creators. Now, we’re evolving how those relationships work for the business: going beyond one-off content production to build partnerships with people who have genuine influence, engaged audiences and the ability to drive both trust and action.
You’ll own three connected programmes: creator partnerships; an emerging ambassador programme; and an affiliate channel that you’ll build largely from the ground up. Your job is to make these programmes work together by building brand credibility and delivering measurable commercial impact.
This is both a strategic and hands-on role. You’ll set the direction, define the economics and build the infrastructure, while personally sourcing talent, negotiating important deals and improving performance. You’ll be as comfortable assessing a creator’s influence and brand fit as you are evaluating acquisition costs, commission structures and return on investment.
Reporting to the SVP Marketing, you’ll work closely with the Head of Brand and Head of Growth, lead a small team and help shape the Partnerships function as it scales. For someone who proves the model and demonstrates the leadership to take it further, there is a clear opportunity to progress your role.
📒 Your responsibilities:
Creator partnerships, UGC and partnership ads
Evolve our established creator programme into a multi-tiered model that spans UGC to affiliate and combines performance at scale with selective, brand-aligned relationships.
Make UGC and partnership ads a central part of the programme. Work closely with the Growth team to identify the right platforms, recruit the right partners, develop compelling briefs, secure usage rights and paid amplification permissions, and establish a consistent stream of creator content to fuel our ads machine. This is a high volume, high stakes channel.
Ambassadors and long-term advocacy
Build the strategy and business case for an always-on ambassador programme spanning larger influencers, emerging talent, celebrities and veterinary professionals.
Define who we partner with, why they are right for Wuffes and how the relationship creates value for both sides. Own talent identification, outreach, negotiation, contracts, deliverables and ongoing relationship management.
Develop partnerships that create sustained advocacy rather than isolated posts, with a clear role across organic content, brand campaigns and paid amplification.
Affiliates
Build Wuffes’ affiliate programme from the ground up. Develop partnerships with relevant publishers, media brands and content-led affiliates. Work with the cross-functional team responsible for SEO/AEO, and organic traffic, to strengthen third-party coverage.
Establish clear operating standards for partner quality, payouts, disclosures and fraud prevention as the programme scales.
Strategy and commercial ownership
Set the Partnerships strategy, roadmap and KPIs. Own the partnerships budget.
Define the economics of each partnership model, including fees, commissions, deliverables and usage rights.
Negotiate commercially sound agreements, forecast investment and returns, and make informed decisions about where to test, where to scale and where to stop.
Measurement and optimisation
Work with Growth to establish attribution, reporting and incrementality testing so we can understand what partnerships contribute, not simply what they are credited with.
Build a clear view of performance across partners and programmes, connecting activity to new-customer acquisition, revenue, customer value and wider brand contribution.
Evaluate organic and paid activity together, identifying how stronger advocacy and creator relationships can improve paid performance rather than treating them as separate programmes.
Team leadership and cross-functional delivery
Lead and scale the team (currently a team of two)
Own the platforms and tools supporting the function. Establish clear processes for contracts, content approvals, usage rights, disclosures and payouts, working with relevant internal teams.
✅ What you bring:
5+ years in creator partnerships, influencer marketing and/or affiliates, ideally in high-growth DTC or e-commerce, with budget ownership
A track record of building or scaling an affiliate programme: platform selection, recruitment, commissions and tracking
Hands-on experience running creator content as a performance channel, including UGC briefs that convert, usage rights and whitelisting, and creator-led paid ads
Experience negotiating talent deals, from creators to bigger names, covering fees, contracts and usage terms
Strong commercial judgement: investment decisions on CAC, LTV and ROI, and clarity on what each partner contributes to the P&L
Knowledge of the US creator and affiliate landscape and the Amazon ecosystem, or the drive to build it fast
Confidence with FTC disclosures and claims standards, ideally in supplements, health or beauty
Experience leading a team: clear priorities, real ownership and coaching
Creative taste: you can tell real influence from a big following, and balance performance and brand
Comfortable with occasional late afternoons or evenings to overlap with US partners
